    PTL researchers had attended 4th Advanced Functional Materials and Interfaces Conference 2025 (AFMI2025) which held in Shanghai, China on 24-26th October 2025. This conference brought together international and domestic experts and scholars in materials research to conduct in-depth discussions and academic exchanges on the applications of advanced functional materials and interfaces in research fields. Advanced functional materials, as one of the core driving forces of modern scientific and technological development, encompass novel materials with special physical, chemical, or biological functions. These materials play an irreplaceable role in fields such as electronics and information, energy, biomedicine, and aerospace. Interfaces are one of the core concepts in materials science; the structure and properties of interfaces directly affect the overall performance of materials. Especially in advanced functional materials, interface effects often become the key factor determining material functionality. The professors participating in this conference discussed and exchanged research findings on various topics, including "Application of High-Energy Pulse Discharge in Industrial Pipelines and TGV Glass Microporous Coatings," "Microscopic Thermal Research of Micro/Nano Devices," "Preparation and Application of Special Multifunctional Carbon Materials," "Three-Dimensional Photodetectors Based on Nanofilm Roll-Up Assembly," and "Interfacial Function Regulation of Orthopedic Materials." All participants benefited greatly from the discussions. Our company's senior management was invited to attend the conference and listened attentively to the research findings of the experts in the field of materials and interfaces.
